Lumion Pro 2026.1 arrives with a clear focus: ensuring that each new project starts from a more solid foundation. Less repetitive setup, more consistent presentations, and more time dedicated to the design itself.
The update adds ray-traced panoramas viewable in VR, custom effect presets, real-time material patterns, and new ways to reuse work across projects.
Ray-Traced Panoramas
Lumion Pro 2026.1 brings full render quality to every 360° view, with realistic lighting, reflections, and depth on par with the best still images. The same visual quality as a final render, now available in panoramas.
VR Panoramas with Lumion Cloud
Once the panorama is rendered, a single Lumion Cloud link is shared, and the client can explore the space using a VR headset directly in their browser, without installing any additional software. Lumion Cloud is free and included in all plans.
Material Pattern Editor
The new Material Pattern feature allows you to more accurately replicate real-world bricks, tiles, and paving stones. You can adjust the width, length, rotation, and offset to more precisely match real-world surfaces.
Custom Effect Presets
Save any combination of effects as a named preset with a preview, and apply that look to different scenes and projects. No need to rebuild the settings each time.
Custom Project Templates
Save a complete project as a starting point. Each new project opens with the structure, effects, and settings already in place, without starting from a blank file.
Custom Parallax Interiors
Add depth behind the glass with an expanded interior library. For the first time, you can use your own EXR files to create custom parallax interiors.
Saved object sets
Keep your most frequently used assets in reusable groups and place them in any scene without having to return to the library each time.
New content included
95 outdoor and garden objects: garden sets, lounge chairs, planters, tables, chairs, parasols, Japanese fences, benches, statues, lanterns, hammocks, and more.
45 nature elements: spring vegetation with flowering trees, including 3 white cherry trees, and 42 seasonal plants such as periwinkles, mousse, tulips, and daffodils.
40 refurbished materials: plaster, ceramics, wood flooring, concrete, metals, plastics, aged aluminum, aged bronze, aged gold, and aged iron.
10 parallax interiors: interior scenes for commercial and residential environments, with day and night variations.
